In order to gather collective wisdom and create quality together, this year's "Quality Month" activity has collected 62 activity themes and 161 slogans from all staff. The selected theme for this year's "Quality Month" activity is "Strengthening the Management Foundation, Building a Strong Quality Defense Line". All activities are planned, tracked, and summarized comprehensively.
On the afternoon of September 2, 2024, the first "Quality Month" mobilization meeting of Leecan will be held. At the meeting, the plan for the first "Quality Month" activity of Leecan was interpreted, and the specific process and requirements for the first "Quality Month" activity were promoted. The chairman of the company has put forward requirements for this "Quality Month", pointing out that quality is the fundamental basis for the survival and development of Leecan. This event aims to mobilize the whole company to work together, root in quality awareness and quality concepts, and jointly build a solid quality defense line.
During the "Quality Month" period, various levels and departments of the company organized a variety of activities, including "document criticism", "warning education", "regulatory knowledge competition", "rationalization suggestions", "skill competition" and other activities.
Through the "Warning Education" campaign, we shared and learned about cases of GMP violations, production of counterfeit and inferior drugs, failure to report/file as required, and FDA warning letters both domestically and internationally. The learning outcomes were evaluated through questioning and assessment, which increased the respect and importance of regulations among all staff and enhanced their quality awareness.
Through the "Regulatory Knowledge Competition" activity, seven teams competed in answering questions about multiple regulations such as the Drug Administration Law, GMP, and the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, enhancing the enthusiasm of all staff to learn regulatory knowledge and laying a solid foundation for Leecan's compliance work. After fierce competition, Hefei Quality System, Nanjing Production Department, and Research Institute won the top three places.
Through the "Rationalization Suggestions" activity, all employees put forward improvement suggestions on various aspects of the company's management, document system, workflow, interdepartmental cooperation, quality improvement, cost optimization, and management enhancement. A total of 58 rationalization suggestions were collected, and 33 were adopted after review, providing effective assistance to the company's quality management work and enhancing employees' sense of "ownership".
In addition to the "Quality Month" activities organized by the company, each department also carries out relevant key work on weak links in production and quality management.
The QC department organized the second "Skills Competition" activity, creating a strong atmosphere of "learning to catch up and helping to surpass" within the department; Participated in the capability verification of two projects organized by Jiangsu Institute of Food and Drug Supervision and Inspection, including UV absorption coefficient method and high-performance liquid chromatography method. The production department has launched a special project to improve quality, including reducing residual materials in preparation, improving loading stability, and shortening packaging production, all of which have achieved complete success and obtained extremely high economic and quality benefits.
The QA department organized a "Batch Record Audit Competition" during this "Quality Month" period, which improved the quality and efficiency of QA personnel's audit of batch records; The "Deviation and Change Control Case Handbook" has been compiled, effectively improving employees' ability to identify and handle deviations, and increasing the timeliness and effectiveness of change assessment.
Other departments have also organized a variety of special improvement activities, such as the warehouse department improving the warehouse site to reduce material confusion and error risks; The technical department checks the consistency of the verification parameters; The equipment department carried out maintenance skill improvement activities, and all activities were successfully completed during the "Quality Month" period, achieving excellent results.
On October 24, 2024, Leecan organized the first "Quality Month" summary and evaluation conference, focusing on the participation of various departments in this "Quality Month" activity, the effectiveness of special quality improvement work, and the review of "Quality Year" indicators for PPT presentation competition. The production department ultimately won the "Excellent Quality Award" in this "Quality Month" activity, the QA department won the "First Prize", the QC department won the "Second Prize", and the technology department won the "Third Prize".
